If you live in Florida and own an RV, everything in the state is just at the tip of your fingers. No need for sold-out flights, rental cars, and expensive hotels. You can start at the Jazz Festival in Sarasota, make your way to Tampa for the Yogi Festival, drive down to Miami for Music Week, and head back up to Jacksonville for the seafood festival, all for normal travel expenses.
36th Annual Sarasota Jazz Festival

From March 6 to March 12, this week-long music fest features jazz greats from all over the country. Each day features jazz concerts, gourmet food vendors, jazz trolleys, pub crawls, or other fun and exciting festivities. The first day is free admission and free parking, while the other days charge a small admission fee with discounts for buying tickets in advance. All evening concerts will be at Riverview High School Performing Arts Center in Sarasota. The event offers VIP parking and a special VIP Patron Package. The Jazz Cruise is the major sponsor of this festival.
4th Annual Lotus Pond Yogi Festival
On March 12 in Tampa, yogis will gather to celebrate the yoga culture in the calm and serene surroundings of the Lotus Pond Center. It’s a one-day festival featuring classes and workshops for various kinds of yoga. Attractions include live music, massages, jewelry displays, and a taco bus. Entry is free, but you can buy unlimited yoga classes for $15 when you buy in advance or $20 at the door. This is a great event to drive your RV to if you want to spend more than a day in this relaxing environment.
Miami Music Week

Electronic dance music has hit the world by storm, and Miami is a hub for night clubs and dance music. Every March, Miami celebrates this ever-growing genre, attracting celebrity EDM artists, DJs, and party-goers from around the world. The multi-day festival takes over the city as hotels, bars, nightclubs, beaches, pools, and rooftops overflow with festival attendees. Miami Music Week runs from March 15 to March 20 at multiple locations throughout the city.
Since there’s no official site for the festival, there’s no entrance cost to attend to. Most of your expenses will go towards hotel costs, cover charges at nightclubs, and typical vacation costs. However, if you drive an RV to Miami this week, you can seriously cut down on hotel costs.
Great Atlantic Festival
The Great Atlantic Festival is a completely free seafood festival in a beachfront setting with entertainment for everyone. Enjoy a full day of live music, rides, family-friendly games, and, of course, seafood! Bring your boots and bikinis, grab some friends, and enjoy some brews on March 19 at the Seawalk Pavilion in Jacksonville Beach.
With spring on the horizon, the country is waking up from winter and anticipating summer. The best way to celebrate is to jump in your RV and head to Florida’s festivals. With schools out for spring break and the nice March weather in Florida, there are so many spring festivals to attend!
