Minutes from the coast, the Sarasota Classic Car Museum is recognized as the secod oldest continuously operating antique car museum in the Nation! It’s also home to some of the oldest and most unique vehicles in the history of America. With special events taking place year-round including jazz instrumentals and car shows, the Museum is a great place to take the family for an outstanding day-trip.
The Museum houses John Lennon’s 1965 Mercedes Benz, Paul McCartney’s beloved Mini Cooper, even John Ringling’s Rolls Royce. You’ll find over 75 automobiles on display, including Alfa Romeo, Bentley, Cadillac, DeLorean, Edsel, Ferrari and more. Special rotating exhibits take place year-round, such as the upcoming exhibit starting Saturday, September 17th from 10am to 1:30pm.
